Putting in some "Tech Time"

Well I am trying to get more hours in for my tech class, so I thought I would blog again. I have spent some time trying to find some sights to save on my Delicious account...I seem to just find goofy ones I want to save instead of educational sights...hmmm. Oh well, I did learn a few helpful things from the class, and it was fun. I think the thing I enjoy using the most is picnik. Olivia and I have had a blast with that! Perhaps I will make my Christmas cards using that sight. Let's see...only three more hours of time to put in. I should probably get on top of recording my hours. One more thing to remember!

Things to be Thankful for

I can't believe that Thanksgiving is almost here. So far this school year has been flying by, and although times have been rough, I feel like things are looking up now. I am hoping that Thanksgiving really brings things that I can be thankful for. Sometimes it is so easy to dwell on the negative things in life that we forget to focus on all other great things. I have a beautiful daughter, great parents, wonderful job, loving pets and terrific friends...what more could I want? So this year during the holiday season, I am going to make sure and only see the good. Life is too short to dwell on the bad.

Trick or Treat

Olivia is excited about being a witch this year for Halloween. Because of her stomach issues, she couldn't go to Trick or Treat Street at my school, but she is having a party at her school tomorrow and we will go trick or treating on Halloween. I hated to destroy her cute picture with the facial additions, but it is for the spirit of Halloween!

Mental therapy

Well I haven't been blogging as much as I know I should. My life seems to be such a whirl wind of drama lately that I probably should be blogging for sanity purposes. Doesn't it truly seem like life can be going by in such a lull and then all of a sudden there is way too much to handle? That is what is going on for me. Right now I could really use a good lull (but I want it to be "good"). I know that is with everything, this too shall pass, but I wish the passing would pick up the pace. Oh well, I guess I need to refer back to my motto that I started out this school year with: go with the flow.

I love my added picture

I just added the picture of my two cats, Jackson (bottom) and Angel (top), and I must say that it looks pretty cute. They love to lay under the computer desk or on it while I am using the computer. Angel even tries to type or likes to attack my hand while using the mouse (I think she thinks it is a real mouse :) I have also entertained her by moving the mouse around quickly as she tries to attack it on the monitor. Oh, the good times I have with my cats and the computer...

Charlie is a suck up

We should have never let Charlie join this class because he is going to make the rest of us look like slackers. He is such a suck up.

Checking it out at home

Well I thought I would check this out at home and show my daughter, Olivia, my catchy name. She liked it:) I had fun using this in the tech class. We all need to surprise each other with comments on our blogs. It is much more fun to open it and see comments. Hope you are all having a good time with this!

Day 1

I have created a blog!!!!!!! This is incredibly exciting!!!!!!! I feel like I have accomplished so much!!!!!!! I hope that I actually use this on occasion. I am now going to look for ways to make this a lot more fancy and colorful. Wish me luck :)
